So, you did or not? The biggest challenge for building good defenses is figuring out which of your initial choke points will be the busiest. They changed something? You will pick them up to get research points. I tried googling for help, but only got results for the steam version stating that it is an antipiracy measure and "buy the game" was the only advice I could find.
Note that if you update values in the editor for campaign points, the values may or may not change visually.
